O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. |

| 8:2 | 你因敌人的缘故，从婴孩和吃奶的口中，建立了能力，使仇敌和报仇的，闭口无言。
Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. |

| 8:3 | 我观看你指头所造的天，并你所陈设的月亮星宿，
When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; |

| 8:4 | 便说，人算什么，你竟顾念他。世人算什么，你竟眷顾他。
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? |

| 8:5 | 你叫他比天使（或作“神”）微小一点，并赐他荣耀尊贵为冠冕。
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. |

Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: |

All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; |

| 8:8 | 你派他管理你手所造的，使万物，就是一切的牛羊、田野的兽、空中的鸟、海里的鱼，凡经行海道的，都服在他的脚下。
The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. |
